With historical influence in mind my goal was to create a skirt and blouse set that could be worn together or separately to make a memorable and unique look. I was inspired by the current trend of dramatic sleeves and draped an exaggerated leg-of-mutton sleeve as the focal point of the look. I also incorporated style lines in the blouse and skirt that reference trends of the early 1900's.
